Amelia Durst
Hi, my name is Amelia Durst. I am a Certified Athletic Trainer and have been working in the health/fitness industry for 10+ years. I started running after high-school which progressed into marathons. I finally found the bike in 2016 and never looked back. The bike has allowed me to explore and go places I would have never seen. It allows a sense of freedom and makes you feel like a kid again. I started racing competitively a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with it. I love going to events and seeing the camaraderie it brings. Health and wellness is such an important part of my life and bikes are such an easy way to bring people together.
Adam Spahr
Hello, I'm Adam Spahr. I have been a professional bicycle mechanic for over 10 years now. As a recovering drug addict, bikes pulled me out of a dark place. I feel the bicycle has saved my life. I've been riding longer than I've been wrenching. At the time, a bike shop was the only place that would hire me. Had I found this outlet sooner, I may not have wasted so much time, only taking from my community. I want to share the bike with the world as if it were a new invention! This is the way I've found to give back, to provide a fun, healthy, and safe outlet for the whole family. I want to give back to the community.
And together we want to share bikes!
The crippler is a celebration of bicycles, of all shapes and sizes. This is a gravel party. We want to take our years of event experience and share our own vision with the world. Promoting health and wellness with group activities.
